So this year I have a goal to complete the 52 weeks of sewing challenge. Past January I have accepted all of them. I k I could possibly get the bag done this month, and I planned to use one of the dresses I made as something to display but then I got Covid and had to stay home and quarantined. Took a whole day, but I finally made my first bag! yea! That has been a goal for a whiles. Here are the rest of the things I made
got the stuff to make that nightie ages ago. Kind of glad I waited until I had more experience sewing knits. It was some slippery stuff. I'm most proud of the bag. Many it took me some time. Mostly because I hadn't done one before and understanding all of the interfacing and hardware was like a new language. I had to reorder hardware because I had the wrong size. Not to make mine - this one is Lily's. The panrs are my favorite leggings because they are made to my measurements. These seem a bit loose. I wonder how they will wear. I haven't worn them yet because I haven't been to work because I got sick. I'm curious. The shirt is actually from last month. Oops. I'm not changing it now. Too much work. This is actually the shirt I made for my mom this month. I mistakenly put the one I made last month in the collage.

This dress is from my subscription box. It was going to be my pretty entry this month. It is a nice cool rayon. It had bias tape hems for the neck and the arms. That was new to me. It also had a very strange way the waistband was attached. The elastic was kind of folded into the fabric as the top was sewn to the bottom. Very different technic.
Aaron's second pair of sport shorts. He has a blue and orange already. Finally finished Brandon's. I had to shorten the elastic by a lot = rip out the entire waistband and redo it. - multiple seams. I finally finished them. I made these almost matching dresses for lily and I for Mother's Day. Gotta love her face. Can you tell she didn't want to take pictures? This was the rest of the fabric from the shirts I made my mom and I. I love this fabric. This was a fun pattern. A bit tricky with the pleats on a knit that wanted to get heavy as it hung, but we got it done. These dresses also have pockets which is fun.
